Sherbrooke OEM and Eagle Vizion have just signed an $ 7M USD contract with Single Stream Recyclers to carry out the design and manufacture of machines for their brand new high-capacity (50 t/H) recycling plant. The state-of-the-art facility will include more than eight optical sorting systems and more than a hundred pieces of mechanical equipment.
This Sarasota, Florida, plant will sort and recycle selective collection waste (paper, plastics, aluminum, etc.). Sherbrooke OEM has been working in this American state for over a decade but this is its largest project so far, with the annual sorting of more than 144 000 tons of material. Plant equipment is scheduled for delivery in August 2017.
